Oh my 4.7 will roast the tires on dry pavement, leaving black marks all down the road. I got it to spin into 3rd once, but only once lol.

my 3.9 will spin both tires right up to 4th going up hill on an icy road :P

Line locks keep drum shoes happy

Best to purposely destroy only one wear item at a time

i got you all beat. i can spin my tires in all 4 gears (automatic) with my v6... with the truck on jack stands

like cramerica said, i don't want to heat up my rear brakes, my is a 04 and have rear pads and rotor.

i notice we got off the subject but does anyone have an idea on the install. i just want to put it in the truck, i payed $100 for it, at least 2 years ago and it has bin sitting on the shelf in the garage.

ABS and line locks do not get along ... You would need to remove the ABS and install regular brakes ... I have heard of folks installing 2 valves , 1 in each front brake line, but have never tried it myself...Normally the line lock installs in the front brake line and then "T's" , since the ABS uses seperate lines you'd need two of the valves
