Default 4WD issues

Well I just got my tranny rebuilt(ouch) and now I have a vibration when I put it into 4WD. As speed increases so does the vibration. When braking into turns I get a binding or clacking noise. This only happens in 4WD. Anyone had this happen before. Truck is an 02 SLT, 4.7 V8, 99k miles, not lifted, stock tires.

start with the basics, check your u-joints, check the transfer case fluid level, and the fluid level in the differentials.

Just picked the truck up from the shop. One of the u-joints in the front drive shaft were bad and an a seal on the front diff. They replaced the seal and u-joint. This fixed the binding noise but the vibration is still there. The shop was closed for the night and I'll be calling in the morning. Any ideas what the hell that vibration could be. Starting the lose faith in these mechanics.
