Default Tranny resistor mod

I read about this and can't find it again. Anybody got the link or know what I am talking about? I know they come with the TransGo kits, but I was wondering if anyone has just got a resistor and tried it and can you use stronger or weaker resistors to get the fluid pressure where it feels comfortable?

ive heard of this mod for 4.7's. i believe it involves cutting a wire in the harness that removes the hesitation in the trans between gears.... basically it makes it shift harder. i honestly couldnt begin to tell you how to do it though.

i may be thinking of the mod that removes torque management. i do think that some company makes a different valvebody for the 45rfe though for more aggressive shifts. that may be what you're thinking of.... sorry, im not a 4.7 expert
