i would keep looking. i got a 98 club cab about 4 months ago. it has 318 v8,4x4,73,000miles the truck is in almost perfect condition. it has a little bit of rust on the underside of the cab but not a whole lot(dang pa winters). paint/interior is flawless. the frame was all repainted. now for the bad only two preset buttons on the radio work, tranny is going need to be rebuilt(it doesnt like to shift when its doing about 10mph) and a rust hole on the wheel well in the bed but i got it for 5,000 the guy was trying to get 5,900 for it. its all around a good truck.

mine doesnt want to shift either around 10 mph. also depends on how much throttle you give it. i would be more concerned with the 2-3 gear hunts if you have any.
