Default Magnaflow VS Flowmaster!!!

i got a 98 dakota club cab 5.2 318 v8. im looking for some more sound from it. i have been looking at exhausts for a week or two and ive narrowed it down to these two. im looking for something that sounds good while steady on throttle and also sounds even better when you stomp it. looking for something that is the most quite in the cab. i dont want to be too loud(my neighbors complain about everything) just enough to let people know that i got a v8 lol. i found these and are a great price. what do you think of the two? which would you buy? Any info will help out. Thanks Mike

id go with magnaflow..just because flowmaster has that airy sound thats to raspy and "dull"....while magnaflow has more of a rumble and meaner sound.... but you go with what ever you want

remember these trucks are 4.7L's..and you have a 5.2L......so its gonna sound different anyways.....but id go MAGNAFLOW all the way!!!!

+whatever for the magnaflow... it actually made my v6 sound like a v8.. or close too it. and i can tolerate the in cab resonance which isnt a lot, barely notice it.

yeah i would love to. really its only the neighbor down the road from us(has nothing better to do than complain) but my other neighbor accross the street from us just had a baby so wants it silent around his house(which i respect that)

I have Flowmaster on my truck and I like the way it sounds (always have liked FM), but can't knock the MagnaFlows because allot of people like them and I think they sound alright. That being said, I have to address the fact that those 2 YouTube clips were of way too different quality and setup to really get an idea. Try and see if you can find a couple guys/gals with the diff set-up's to hear it for real. The Dakota, Durango & Ram all use a 4.7 engine so it may not be as hard as you think to get a preview of the sound, then buy what you like.

Oh yeah, I too, set off alarms
