Looks nice and has a good stereo, but how many miles? I bought my '03 QC SLT w/4.7, 4x4 & tow package for $7500 (I know I stole it ), so it just depends on how many miles and how much they go for out there. I know if it comes from a dealer it's worth about 60% of their asking price for private party, so you may want to shop around.

id be more concerned with 3 things about this truck. mileage, maintenance, and how well those things were installed on that truck. 10K is a lot of dough to dish out on something. in a perfect world, a modified vehicle is more expensive, but in reality, a stock vehicle is worth more. that gives you the confidence nothing was tampered with and gives you the opportunity to start on a fresh plate to start modifying. all the stuff is minor except the stereo system which is electrical.

i would say tell him he could take out all that stereo garbage and the worthless TB spacer and knock 1000$ off the price, then id consider it. It doesnt even say how many miles it has on it.

I don't think it's worth that much, ran it through kelley blue book (had to make some assumptions, figured 12k/year mileage) and came up with $5,645 private party. If you can get more info out of him run it through: http://www.kbb.com/

Yeah I think its alittle pricey for what it is... even with the add ons. Thats almost what you can get an 05 for, minus the mods and like 4k, but you are left with a 3yr old truck instead of an 8 yr old. Good luck man!

I like the stereo setup a lot. But Im all about doing the work myself. So I would only buy someone elses project is if it is super cheap. It would be mostly for parts anyways, more than likley at least.
