It really doesn't matter how long the bulb is. Theres a plate inside the projector that the bulb gets close to. Usually ebay projectors are cheapy made....really cheaply made. Look into some denali ones or cadiallac ones. ALOT more money, just cause the projector is such higher quality (stanley or kioto made). Plus the ones off ebay are halogen projectors, and not HID projectors. I got lucky with mine. 4300K fits fine, but it has a lower temp rating then 6000K, so it doesn't get to hot. I didn't want to take a chance with melting the housing. It can be done, just be careful with it.

Heres what it looks like

Ohhh man i'd love to do a retrofit like that. Im having to sell my dak so I can't do a retrofit like that. I'll try it on the my sierra though . If you really want to do one, i'd suggest just opening up the housings you have now with the halo and just replace the projector in that. ALOT less time. Plus if you buy some clear ones, you'll probably have to go back to the 9007 bulb and have to do a bi-xenon and then wire up the solenoid inside so you can have high beam too. Pain in the *** if you ask me. Plus halo's look cool

Well the truck has about 395xxx kms on it. Plus the sierra is better on gas for me, and I have a brother that works at a dealership, so all parts are basically dirt cheap. If you want some good projectors look on ebay. TSX ones run for roughly around 100, somtimes 150. Im going to go with the lexus ls430 ones. The beam pattern is so wide it lights up 8 lanes of traffic.

The only problem is that they are a little big. but definitely worth it.
