MUSCLE MILK haha. All I know is that there it only 3 bolts holding on the lights. Other then that they should just come right off. Unless if you bought the truck used, the guy before you tampered with the lights.

they are pretty yellow so i'm sure they are the original ones. i'll try to get you that picture

Again just make sure you have the 2 park lights out, the main headlight connector disconnected, and the 3 bolts off. My 98 is similar to your 97 and thats all I had to do.


If im not mistaken isn't there a piece of black plastic attached to the assembly that lines up with a hole in the truck? Sort of like a piece of plastic with a ball on the end, and when you push it through the hole of the truck it locks it in place and all you have to do is just put the bolts on. If you have all the connections disconnected, thats the last thing I'd try. It should work. Just give it a hard tug.

exactly, pull it out hard....it'll *** out easily if you do it right
