Default not to get off topic...but

my truck wont shift at WOT from first to second either...it hits the rev limiter and wont shift till i get off it......and i put the superchips and it wouldnt shift but it went farther into rpm..so..my tuck does have the infinity system with 2 10's under the back seat..and i do tend to play it loudly

problem with these 2 things..

govenor pressure sensor and govenor pressure solinoid.

When they rebuilt the tranny did they replace these? Also do you know if they tq the bands to the CORRECT inch lbs?

Ive had this problem for awhile, but im going to have a custom Vavle body made for my truck, from APS.

http://www.apsprecision.com/

im going to get every addon possible and every tweak possible, should be one hell of a upgrade.

went to my mechanic today

had him put in the 3923's and a 180 thermostat

the truck had bosch platinums in there....ew.

anyways i talked to a few people there (friends of mine)

and they said its only from first to second and its a built in safety measure

built in safety measure? LOL! Ya bouncing off the rev limiter at 6k is real safe.. and good for the engine, its not suppost to do that, ive looked up this problem before and it has to do with the 2 sensors i listed above, they are known to go out and cause this problem, and while your installing the sensors might as well adjust the bands and the TV cable.

some people have even said replacing the TPS fixed the problem... but i dought it.
