Default CAI whistling

Hi there everyone. I put in a CAI 2 weeks after I bought my truck (2004 Dakota Quadcab 4.7 4x4). It sounds great and has helped with the mileage when I'm not gunning it for the heck of it

The issue I have is that after I put the CAI in I get a whistle when I press the gas lightly at 60kms/hr and 80kms/hr. When I'm accelerating hard it's not there, but when I'm just trying to keep the truck at 60 or 80kph it whistles. At the lower speeds it's not there. I think it has something to do with one of the sensors that I had to put into the new CAI. Here's a picture of where the sensor went. It was a stock sensor that was just relocated as per instructions.

Any ideas?

my sister's ford does that as well. I personally do not mind the whistle. It is jsut fast moving air flowing over an opening and wouldnt be a huge problem. at least I wouldn't think it was.

its the sound of the air traveling thru the intake. if you want it quieter, run more pipeing..

factory intake baffles the whistle. its a combination of the butterfly valves ever so slightly open and the IAC valve. simply get used to it or put the stock intake back on. we all experience the whistle

thanks everyone. I thought the whistling might have been baffled by the old restrictive air intake. Good to know.
