Yep, the transmission runs about 22.5k from what I've read. It's also stock and not much performance about it. lol

they are nice for sure. i personally like the R34 better and with the R34, you don't have to worry about voiding your warranty because you use launch control. also R34 doesn't ahve a stupid flappy paddle gearbox. proper manual FTW!!

hows the GTR well made if it blows the tranny after 10 launches? makes me feel warm and cuddly inside about having a dodge transmission instead. the rebuilds are about 10 times cheaper too...

thats dumb that nissan would do that when they made this vehicle to go fast thats all it is for and the price is crazy but its not just a transmission its also the transfer case and rear end all in one it has to have 2 driveshafts

Its a nice car yes.

Well built? I don't think so. How many people have to replace their tranny after a few launches? I know people with stangs and camaros that launch it all the time, have 100k miles on them and still run fine. If it blows a tranny after just a couple weeks of owning it I don't consider it well built

I def wont deny its a badass car. Fast as hell and I think it looks really good. But def not my cup of tea. I want to drive my car, not just mash the throttle and let it do the work for me and then blow up.

Ahhh... more import trash. Trust me. I lived in Japan for 4 years and had a R33 GTR (They dont cost anything over there I paid 11k for one with 60 kilometers). One word Garbage!!!! I sold it to some dood who was new to town and thought just like I did when I showed up. Skylines are so overated. Every skyline in town would get worked by anything usually evo's. Good job Nissan... now lets make another movie abomination called "fast and the furious" and we can sell these puppies. If you cant tell I am still bitter about wasteing 11 grand when I could have bought a beater for my 4 years over there...

yeah i guess the apeal to the R34's straight six is the ability to mod the living **** out of it and get hp ratings near-as-makes-no-difference up to 1000 hp. now that sir is impressive IMO

Looks like a 350z and a Eclipse had sex and thats the baby of them.. ugly.

Ive never liked skylines and i remember back in middle school on some stupid game everyone played on the net and everyone wanted a skyline. Blah

Ill stick to my ACP Viper, or Hennessy TT Venom Viper. 1600hp and more areas to boost that up or a measly 1000 fully built.... lol even though it doesn;t matter because anything with 1000+hp is just plain sick... and somthing i can only dream of driving when i find a unlocked Viper with the keys in it in town... ahh
