anyone know of some good parts to get to raise from 13 mpg to something better

anyone know of some parts to get to raise the my13mpg to something better

welcome.. do a tune up, start from there. you just need plugs and try an air filter or if you want to start with modifications, get a intake kit for it.

new o2 sensors tend to help a bunch.

free(er) flowing intake adn exhaust will help
plugs
depending on the how many miles you have on your truck....go with synthetic oil


and the number one way to get better gas millege is not to drive like me!!!!(peddal to the metal)

I put in different plugs, put in a drop-in K&N air filter, swapped to synthetic fluids, put the air pressure to 40psi(check to make sure your tires are maxed at 44 or more and not 35). Swapped to an after market muffler. Drive with the Overdrive off under 45mph. Keep your foot out of it.


I gained about 4mpg in the city this way.
