get some springs you know will work for you (go to a place that will let you try them first than keep which gives you the right height. ). I know the suspension is different on a 2wd so I can't really tell the difference, but on my stock, the hight was just determined by the front shock and torsion bar.

sweet little stampede you got there. those are not easy to find,

for your suspension questions, a 3" drop spring will destroy your ride quality, and make alignments more difficult, plus they put a damper on handling

western chassis makes drop lower control arms that allow the use of stock height springs, ride and handling are not compromised, and they maintain factory geometry,

there are no camber kits, but with lower arm drops its as simple as getting a professional alignment done

DJM makes drop leaf shackle kits that can drop up to 5" and if im not mistaken they are adjustable, those also maintain ride and handling.

you're gonna need new shocks with that much of a drop
theres no arguing that point, you will blow out your stockers in a hundred miles or so
(i've seen it done, do not questions me...bahaha)

and if you're looking at kits, dont worry about what engine they list, that has no effect unless its 4x4 or an r/t

and drop spindles, id say they are the best way to drop it....
but trust me, they dont exist. period, this is another point where arguing is pointless there are no drop spindles for dakotas

after any work on the front suspension. ALWAYS GET AN ALIGNMENT!
(unless you're hardcore like me and know how to adjust the front end)

How come they do not make many suspension parts for Dakotas? They don't make jack for lifts or lowering kits? Why not? Its a very popular truck, is there something about our suspension that makes it hard to lift/lower? Always wondered.

no, there is not enough demand for it, its a great work truck
and people who use a work truck have no intentions of lowering or lifting it.
