Default 33's HELP!!

I bought some 33x12.5x20 nitto terra grapplers on 20x9 moto metal 909. i installed a 3" body lift and i cranked the t-bars. it rubs HARD when i turn my wheels on the lower fender (refer to picture) and there is no way in hell im gonna start trimming that. the thing is had to buy a wheel adapter/spacer to fit the wheels and they were 1.5" thick. and the rims i bought had a big offset so the stuck out. Like a dumbass i thought that would work but because they stick out so far they hit the fender. so the main question is if i get rid of the wheels and buy some rims without needing an adapter will they fit? what offset of rim would work best? thanks maybe now i can stop tearing my hair out.

Can you post a pic of your kota with the body lift? even on your stock rims is cool im just wondering what it looks like

I want 33's on mine too so im curious about the answer too! My guess is that if you got rid of the adapter they would fit but im not 100% (i realize you need the adapter from your post or it wouldnt be on) but i know people have run tires that size before. Hopfully one of them will post soon....

im thinking the big issue is the width of the tires.
easy fix?
lift the truck more,
or get skinnier tires,
or wait for somebody to get you an offset, but if you've already got big *** spacers like that, offset wont do much more

I am also looking into getting a lift kit and big tires. I read this site http://www.tuffcountry.com/suspensio...lift-kits.html and it shows 33" tires with a 5.5" suspension lift kit but it is only available up to 1999 model trucks. I did not see what year your truck is. My Dakota is a 2004 so I am forced to got with the 3" body lift kit. I don't have the URL but I did read that the largest tire you can have with a 3" lift is 31". http://www.gorancho.com has lift kits for 2000-2002 but I don't know if they are higher then 3"

I too would like to see some pictures of your truck.

my truck came with 31x10.5"s
so with a 3" lift you should be able to clear 33"s

only in snow lol.

Yeah im pretty sure with a 3" lift it will clear 33s. I have 31s on my bone stock suspension and there is a good amount of clearence, with a 3" lift they should clear.
