Default ANOTHER Sub Question

I want some fuller sound in my Quad Cab. I dont really want to "bump" stuff, just richer fuller sound. I was looking at those 8" Bazooka Subs thinking that those would be a great fit behind the back seat since they are self amplified. Anyone have any experience with that or other ideas. I don't want to go much over $300. BTW I have nice aftermarket door speakers and a deck already, I just want to fill in the sound a little bit. Thanks

I have two 8" tubes in my truck. They sound AWESOME. I put them in not too long ago, just expecting a little better sound, and I was blown away at how good they sounded. I also put a couple of Kenwood speakers in the back panels (where the stock ones are) just for the heck of it.
I would totally suggest getting the tubes. You will be amazed at how good they sound.

Well I'm out on removing the center console. I dont want to mangle my truck just for sound. I am just kind of nervous I'm going to order a Bazooka and it won't fit behind my Quad Cab back seat. That local Best Buy is selling the self amplified ones for $80 but they aren't in stock so you have to order it. I think I'm going to go in today and order it.

what you can do is create a box that can be removed and just fold up the 40 or the 60 portion of your back seat when you are not using it. basically it can be moved around, now if you haul a lot of people then that won't work but if you don't use it every day then its a viable option for you
