Default HID, xenon, or silverstar ultra bulbs?

im debating if i want to go with an HID kit, direct xenon bulb, or go with sylvanias ultra silver stars. from what i read i know HID is charged with xenon gas, not my problem. i plan on putting these in the crystal clear head lamps i'll be isntalling in the spring. now i know it may scatter the light without reaiming, etc etc. i dont need to hear it, im well aware. who's a good company to get these from or which of the 3 should i just with? thanks.

I've got the Silverstar Ultras and they're quite impressive. Ive never seen Xenon bulbs or HIDs so I can't compare, but the Silverstars increased my lighting by at least 40%.

How long have you had them? I've heard from a few people that the Silverstars don't last very long. I was going to change mine to Silverstars but after hearing that people had to change them every 8 - 12 months, I reconsidered (those things aren't cheap).

look on ebay i got my set for 22 shipped granted i had a 10 percent off coupon but still 25 isn't bad for them especially with how good they are. i have read about the short life thing though too so i'll have to see how they go i've only had them for a month or two.

I've only had them for about a month, but in my opinion they're worth spending $30 or so every year for. They are an incredible improvement over stock bulbs.

Bosch HID's or McCulloch HID's are the best. Looking at about 150 from the right place.

And when you said "xenon" are you talking about the xenon gas charged bulbs (immatation HID's)? I tried those bulbs before. Lasted about a month. Looked cool, but light output was the ****s.

HIDs with the Euro's shoots a far way, you can see deer eyes when regular or Silverstars cannot(I've tested it in BFE).

I won't go without HIDs again.

HIDs you can go to www.hidkitswarehouse.com for decent deals. If you have a stock radio, I hear the digital ballast stop the static in it when on.
