i have an 03 dodge dakota that i bought last wednesday from a used car lot. it has been running fine other than a leak in the power steering fluid hose which isnt a big deal. until last night when i went to drive my truck after it had been sitting outside for about 4 hours. the head lights wouldnt turn on either with the interior and dash lights and same with the intermitent setting on my wipers and my service 4x4 light is on and the truck wont shift into 4x4 at all. its not the fuses. or the battery. any ideas?

central timer module... everything you mentioned is related to that computer.. bet it took sh*t and quit.

 

do you know how much that will cost?

 

i agree, its probably the CTM. it costed my friend about 300 to replace.

 

did you get a warranty?

First person I would call is the sales person at the lot!

 

it would most likely be the 1 month or 100 mile warrenty.....you should be covered!!!!! call the used car lot!!!!!!!

he needs a CTM.. not a PCM mr. sh*ts and giggles.

 

yeah i got mine replaced with my 3 month 3000 mile warrantie or whatever it was from the steam bath they gave the engine bay
