Default TB modification

so i was going to do a TB mod by grinding off those bastard edges (that seem to serve no purpose) with a dremmel. anyone know anything about doing this? i circled the parts i'm talking about in the below picture in BLUE. disregard the red circles, they were for something else i was trying to explain to a friend of mine via e-mail. anyway, let me know guys, this seems like a cheap way to maybe gain, if nothing else, some better throttle response.

well, you maaaaaaaay want to edge around where your intake hat mounts to the TB buddy. id chave right where those dips are how the edges are molded, from the angle im looking at it.
