Default Buying a lift, need help

so I just got my 02 dakota 2wd 4.7 quad for xmas. love it, yes.
thing is immaculate, only 50k miles on it, parents got it for an excellent price. gas could be a tad better, but thats what i get from upgrading from a car i guess.
so, im looking to get a lift; body or suspension, whatever the best deal is i can find. ive found 3" body lifts for 249.99, which i feel is a reasonably good price.
now i also found this:
http://www.streetsideauto.com/produc...YMM&Reset=True

it being alot cheaper, does anyone have experience from this site, and how much higher exactly would my truck be?
sorry, im not a big mechanic fan, i just want my truck to look badass more than it is already
thanks

its going to lift the front end above the rear end. as long as your axle sits under your leaf springs on the rear axle, its a good route to go.

congrats, I love my 2003. because of our torsion bar ( I am assuming you do too) front ends lifts are not cheap around $1000. what most of us do is crank the torsion bars up and put blocks in the back. this will allow up to (I think) 33" tires w/o issues. I have 32's (actual 31.6" close enough ) on mine and don't have probs.

Is there a way to tell if the torsion bars have already been done? My truck sits level but my leaf springs could be sagging. I want to crank my torsion bar 2" and get blocks but i dont wanna over crank them.

Get under the truck and look at the keys, if the arm where the bolt goes through is touching the body then they are cranked all the way if there is space then you can crank some more. Hope that helps
