im back and wow.. one bumpy road with the pain. finally prescribed the right medication after trial and error with the pain. started physical therapy today and so far an improvement to how i was this morning. thanks guys for the support. gonna be a long road with recovery since he had to do major work on my meniscus as well, along with th ACL reconstrucion.
see, now that wasn't so bad. lol. yeah i had a hell of a time on morphine, knocked out the pain out in a hurry but gave me a splitting headache. once you're a week out, you're in the clear. just sucks getting up to ****.
one word for anyone in alot of pain.... NUBAIN.
they gave me nubain in my IV when i was in the hospital and it was like as soon as it went into my arm i just went numb. I can honestly say after I got that stuff every 4 hours in the hospital, I understand how people become addicted to illegal drugs.

You'll be up quicker than you think once you learn to trust the new wheel. I had the same done a few years back. Ditched one crutch the second day and both by the fourth. Just don't run unless the house is on fire. ( Thats what my doc told me) The swelling was bad for a few weeks. Feels great now, better than the one that didn't have the work done.
Enjoy the down time.
