Hey don't let that slow your posts down - I'm in a little hut in Afghanistan right now. Haven't worked on my Dak in awhile - get my fix by reading about all you guys and gals projects... Good luck with the surgery.

one word for anyone in alot of pain.... NUBAIN.
they gave me nubain in my IV when i was in the hospital and it was like as soon as it went into my arm i just went numb. I can honestly say after I got that stuff every 4 hours in the hospital, I understand how people become addicted to illegal drugs.

You'll be up quicker than you think once you learn to trust the new wheel. I had the same done a few years back. Ditched one crutch the second day and both by the fourth. Just don't run unless the house is on fire. ( Thats what my doc told me) The swelling was bad for a few weeks. Feels great now, better than the one that didn't have the work done.
Enjoy the down time.
