well of course i'm wanting to snag what i can. And $75 for a TB for 25 HP and 30 ft-lb or something like that is better than $200+ for a superchips for 15 HP and 25 ft-lbs. ect.

i was speaking, top end terms. somebod said it doesnt do squat till 3K...and the power band is really narrow, 2600 to 3400.

ah ok... yeah i believe the superchips will give you that much power all the way through the rev range (which might be a better buy afterall)...

im just waiting till the end of the summer when i get a supercharger

you WILL need the programmer then!

but you also have the mighty mouse with a stick. So you have more potential than my squeeker with a slushbox. :P

For example when we modify the stock throttle body for the V8 the percentage of flow increase is 15%, but for the V6 (p/n 5500) the improvement is 43%.

43% is a heck of alot for a V6! especially at the top end.

WOW thats impressive.. too bad the new 4.7 and 3.7 really don't get the additions from newer (aka bigger) TB's

allpar says the 3.9 was more of an cheap to produce economy motor. so of course it had alot of contraints. but apparently the manifold limites the effectiveness of a bigger TB. IDK what bore the manifold is though.

yeah the 4.7 was designed with the optimal size intake and manifold (from what i have heard) so i assume any mods to it (other than CAI and Supercharger) are pretty pointless.
