Default 98 dakota sputters after it starts

for the past year my 98 dodge dakotahas been sputtering. it starts fine and then about five minutes later it starts to sputter. when i press the gas pedal it tries to slow down. then after i tap the gas pedal for about a minute it clears up and drives fine. one guy said it was an 02 censor, but it has been changed twice and that has not fixed anything. anybody have any suggestions?

You may have a vacuum leak or something else. Do you have any trubble codes? Your 98 is a gen 2 dakota. I will move this post there where you can get some good advice from others around your year.
