not necessarily. i have the corporate 8 1/4 rear and my gears are 3.92... im goin with 3.92 since his is a 4x4. and if its the sport package, then i wouldnt put it past me at that point. unless requested for 3.55 gears when the order was placed.

I have a 4x4 sport and its 3:55. Thats why I hate 5th gear its so f-ing long.

you have the 4.7 v8. me and roamin have the o so powerful 3.9 v6s. this one kid i went to school with had a 99 with a 318 4x4 with 3.55s. it was an auto though but he had the 2 extra cylinders to compensate for it.

I know I used to have the 3.9, I just wish I had 3.92's

you can say that again...

only thing is that i like having 355's for long highway drives, i did the math and 3.92s would be up around like 2800 where my truck is pulling along at like 2250 or something like that

thats true, 3.55's is exactly 2 grand at 70mph, which is pretty good for gas purposes.

1600 5th gear and im aroun 50-55 ? what would that be

I do have a sport model and next time I hit the highway ill see how fast im going at 2000rpm.
