wel the other day i had to boost my truck and i discovered it does have the security/keyless system on it. i called the dealer and they said the have the remolts for $100, prob is the manual only shows how to program the remolt if u have one working already. how can i program a remolt for the system without having one? its a 2000 dak r/t

 

There has to be a way. But either way there will be a mode you put the system into. Once the system is in the mode you can click one of the buttons on the remote and it will program it in the vehicle. I just did this with mine, and you just have to flash the hood pin a few times a specific amount will allow you. i would check what system you have exactly, and see if there is a manual online. Thats how I found mine.
