sounds good and i just saw one sell on ebay for 40 yesterday i was kinda pissed cuz i paid 55 but oh well...i got wire after class and i'm trying to make sure i have everything i need before i start the wiring. i didn't realize you can just unbolt the clip and throw in the computer because i thought i was screwed at first because the 99 console comes down farther and i would have had to cut up my headliner

Oh easy enough, now if the wiring isn't that painful, I'll probably do one myself.

Thats awesome. Yeah, let us now how the wiring is. On my Dakota I actually took a rear view mirror out of a suburban that had the temperature and compass on it and wired it in. It works, but if this isn't too painful, i would love to install an overhead one in mine instead.

woo new pictures got the wiring harness all made up. the yellow, pink and black wire are spliced into the old overhead lights so they don't need to be run down to the fuse box just cut the old connector off and wire them in. most annoying part was twisting the black wires by hand without a drill. they need to be twisted so that the mpg info stuff works right. put little tags as to which wire is which on the bottom just in case anyone was wondering how i was going to tell between 4 red wires lol. enjoy idk when i'll get it in the truck but possibly this weekend if im not to busy seeing as the girl and me are on a break right now and i have a hockey tourny all day sunday.
