so all i would need is this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2002-...Q5fAccessories and the wiring harness to install this in my 04 and i think the newer consoles are lame compared to the older ones

But where are the wiring descriptions!
I'm pretty sure the black-white and purple pair are wired to the ODB II connector but do the colors match?

Black is ground
violet-green is the temp sensor

Now it gets confusing
yellow I think is full time +12volts
orange is supposed to be wired to the dimmer, but where?

Finally I have a blue-lime wire and a black-tan one.

Help!

Reviving this for the good info and for the fact that when I did my heater core I messed something up and now only the Temp works so I need to refresh myself on how I did this when I get around to trying to fix it.

Check your CCD Bus connections....
