With my stock exhaust I've had the average down to 6. Should have gotten a picture.

Here's my question. I got a overhead trip computer out of an 2000 Durango. I had it installed in my 2001 Dodge Dakota. I used these instructions from another website. http://www.dakotaquadsquad.com/id37.html

Here are the following things that are working:

1.) Temp. Sensor is working
2.) Elapse Time is working

The compass is stuck on "Cal". I did everything per the owners manual for re-calibrating and now it's stuck on "CAL" and is always reading "N" (north). So the compass is not working.

Trip stuff is not working. It does however display DTE, AVE MPG, ECO, ET, TRIP ODO but is not actually showing (for example 13.0 mpg things like that)

I also do not have a violet/brown (+ CCD BUS)wire that I've read in other postings that needs to be hooked up. I do have a Violet/Yellow.

I'm not an electrical person, nor do I play one in real life.

I need help. PLEEEEEEEEase!!!!

Everything was followed as described in the instructions.

Thanks in advance.
