Can someone answer me this, is there a definite difference between the symptoms of a faulty cam sensor or a crank sensor.

yes bad crank would cause it to turn on the coil at the wrong times, same with the cam if it's just a hesitation and not all the time I would check something else. Might even be an alternator on the fritz who knows. (Dead spot on it.)
