1998 dodge dakota
I have a 1998 dodge dakota, standard, 5.2 magnum. Just started while driving it stalls/bucks/missing, choose one. It only hestitates briefly for a couple of seconds. Not always.
I have changed the plugs, plug wires, coil, rotor and cap, TPS sensor. All have not fixed the problem. I also checked for vacumm leaks none.
Any idea what is wrong.

very cool, a 5.2 magnum. I have a 2.5 magnum, 4 cylinder..
all i can say is, if none of the above has worked and your check engine light is on, try getting it scanned by Auto Zone or even local mechanic places. they should not charge a lot of money.

look down the throttle body and see if theres oil in your intake, a bad plenum gasket could cause some of those problems. could also be a timing chain problem.

I did some testing on the cam sensor and I am supposed to get 5 volts, testing the connector coming from the PCM. I disconnected the connector and just tested the wire coming from the PCM, I have 5 volts both wires. The test is supposed to be with the wire connected back probe the wire and you are supposed to get 5 volts off and on while cranking the engine.
I get a constant 5 volts even with the connector disconnected. Why ? I do not have a Autozone near me.
