cold air intake?

Default cold air intake?

just shopping around for a intake, wanted to get ur guys suggestions on it. anyone have one that there impressed with? perferably on a 99 3.9 auto

i bought the short ram air intake off ebay i like it
whisltes when you start the truck sounds pretty good at high rpms too i think i paid 34 bucks for it

look on ebay for the best deals. otherwise the cheapest you can find. i threw money at a K&N fipk for my 3.9. the one for the 5.9 v8, my year, fits.

I just got a K&N drop in and I am quite happy with it. I would only get something more if I were getting COLD air. As in I had a heat shield or was getting the air from somewhere other than the engine bay, like in a fender or from a removed fog ect.

Just my 2 cents

heat shield doesnt exactly do much.

think i threw $250 at it, at the time. forgot where i got it. check jcwhitney.com or autoanything.com for deals, etc. you dont need to spend that much on a kit. look on ebay first. they all do the same, then looks play a role.
