Question Help Me Please!!!

So a couple weeks ago my truck threw the code P308 (cylander #8 Misfire Detected) so i ran a can of seafoam through the gas tank and pulled the plug out of cylander 8 and it was cracked. Ok yep that will do it i thought and replaced the plug and wire. about a week later it starts throwing the code again P308 WTF?? i pull the plug again and it's fine, only a week old and still looks brand new. So What else could be causing the misfire in cylander 8?

Check your cat.

Not sure about dakota's but on the ram's a clogged cat will cause a cyl 8 misfire.

does it run like its misfiring? I honestly dont know what would cause a plug to crack other than maybe the head is warped.

how did you go about clearing the code?
try removing the positive and negative battery cables and then touching them together for a few seconds.

i think it may still be stored in the computer, try the battery cable thing. as long as its running ok i dont think you have any problem.
