Sub under jump seat
To pull out the center seat you have to unbolt all the seat belts and both the driver and passenger seats and the middle seat is bolted to the frame rails for the driver and passenger seats and you remove the whole front seat set as an assembly. It's kind of like handling a very large and very heavy wet noodle. That's why it takes 2 guys to do it. When you get it out of the truck and on the ground, then you can remove the center seat section. It's a royal PITA but can be done with patience and the right tools.

I have the subs that go in their own tray under the back seats.

Mine has 2 10" mtx subs... It changes the angle the seats are at, as the new molded tray w/ the amp and subs is a bit taller, so the seats sit at a bit of a higher angle.. No big deal, you can still sit on em. And it holds all the tools/jack and stuff... SOUNDS AWESOME I love mine...

Yea, well mine has the 2 MTX 10s that come mounted in the form already... sounds amazing IMO. I have a clarion deck and speakers... only thing I need to do is get an amp for the speakers... rated for 220watts, deck puts out 50, lol
in my 98 reg cab i took center out made the perfect airspace box for a kicker comp 15 and fired the sub back in the box lmao the good old days it would blow air back out the windows. only drawback was big azz magnet in the way
a 8 incher in a small box wont do ya much good
but i see you have an extcab dak anyone ride in the back if not could be a home for at least 2 brand new 10's
if u use back seats try upgrading door speakers to good component speakers and add an amp u will be happer with that than one 8 inch sub in a small box

The 12" in my room is floor loaded, gets 300 Watts, 8 cubic feet ported to 18 Hz.
Safe to say, the only subs i ever do will be facing a surface. The camaro box was forward firing, only because it didn't occur to me that down firing would be that much better.
But I'd build my own box, probably .8 to 1.25 cubic foot, sealed, with my 10" pioneer and 100 watt amp.
I know he center seat unbolts seperate from the other 2 seats, but how do you actually pull it out and such?

the camaro if say if we r still under 150 dbls u should have fired the subs up at the back window.that would have picked up 3dbls at the most over a truck using 2 subs
hatch back cars like back window no trunk you can make them hit the hardest with 2 subs just by refelcting the subs off back window. but if u want a real SPL killer a wall still beats all(wall of subs)
ps its been round 3 years since i played with car sounds decks,amps,crossovers,battcaps,capps,0gauge wire, subs, mids, highs,tv's,dvds'flipdowns, epacenter s,matched componet sets, and so on. so im not up 2 date on anything new
