Default headers

ive got an 03 dak 4.7 with after the cat 3' with dynomax, and i was wondering if there is a big difference in brands of headers i was looking at either JBA or hedman, with im going to put a high flow cat to, is there a difference in the brands or the cheaper of the 2 the best?

you probably wont gain any performance with either one, the only thing it will really affect is the sound. but if you're going to get headers, go for headers with the best coating so they dont end up looking like rusty pieces of crap after a year.
changing the Y-pipe on a 4.7 to a less restrictive one does help though.

well, depending on where you live, you could rip the cats off completely. also, it really doesnt matter what coating they come in, get the best ones (wait for some 4.7 guys to chime in) and then take them to get coated. thats what i'd do. also, i would go dual 2.5" pipes with an x-pipe.

the cats dont matter i can do what ever i want theres not much in the way of laws up in canada where im from, i was thinking headers, new y-pipe, high flow cat, and keep my single 3' with my dynomax behind the rear tire. I hear many pros and cons about leaving the cats in taking the mout i just want the thing to not **** off my computer and keep thing running smoothly
