Default V8 conversion

I have an 2001 dakota with a 2.5 I4. i just wanted to know if the frames and mount`s are the same between the v8, v6 or I4. im wanting to put a 5.9 in my truck. Or if there is any way that this can be done.

the frames are no different, but you will need to fab new mounts and get a new trans and fab mounts for that too

quite a bit of work involved... better answer: sell it and get a stock V8.

true. in that case he could do a body swap on a frame that has a V8 with a 5 speed. there is a guy w/ a 1st gen that did that... so its an option.
