turbo or supercharger? can i piece together a kit somewhere/somehow? or is the only way to drop $4gs on a kit?

if you turbo it or supercharge it....ur gonna be running low boost numbers because the stock engien wont be able to handle large numbers for a long time....(high booste settings = low engine life)

if you cant yank the motor out then all you canpretty much do is just bolt ons.....dont be too mad if you dont get crazy HP numbers though

I dont know why every one busts on the 3.9's i know they are not the quickest things or are a v8 but when i drive my friends 98 3.9 5 speed i actually thought about trading trucks. If you got it paired with a manual tranny they can go pretty good. Hey my 318 aint the fastest in the word either its a dog if you ask me.

^^ your also driving a truck that is like 11 years old.....it aint no rocket

im not saying that mine is either....all im saying is that if you buy a dakota....go for a v8...because its somewhat better on gas if you baby it alot...and theres more power!!!!
