Default 3.9L v-6 build

what are some mods for the 3.9L? its an 03 5-speed manual. has an exhaust system on it.

hughes makes an intake, v8 tb, 1.7rr's, you said you had done exhaust, you could always spray it

you can put a V8 throttle body on it, E-fan, CAI, cut the runners in the keg, port polish heads, cam, headers, etc......

doesnt the v8 throttle body kill gas mileage?

you cant have horsepower AND gas mileage. the two just don't jive. beside you have a 3.9, the mileage isn't great to begin with.

More air flow tells the pcm to add more fuel, which equals more HP. Ive seen anywhere b/w 5-20 HP gained depending upon what you get.

i can get the hook ups on a k&n kit... should i go for it? will i notice decreased mpg?

k&n would be the way to go. Im not certain exactly, but i dont think you'll see much of a difference. All the CAI kits actually claim to improve mpg, but ive never used one so i dunno for sure.

you wanting to make your v6 better?....first off you forgot a couple cylinders


are you wanting to yank the motor out and rebuild it? or just mod it?
