Question Wiring Help

The only problem I have b/w my v6 harness and v8 harness is just one plug is different. Im not sure what its for but its in the front passenger side of the truck and it clips the engine wiring harness into another harness on the truck.

Heres my problem/question. All the wires are the same in the two styles of plug except for one. On the v6 plug there is one black wire, and on the v8 its a white wire. I wanna just cut the plug off the v8 harness and splice the v6 one on, but i want to make sure that the black and white wire is for the same thing.

I tried finding this part of the wiring in my haynes but its not in there.

Please help, thanks.

Default diagram?

Where do I get the diagram pics that you have? I need info on the 01' 4.7 dakota and 03' durango 4.7 wiring harnesses. Do you know if anyone makes adapters for swaps?

Thanks
