Default 02 Dakota 360 supercharger

charger1.jpg

here is a supercharger I purchased, I have figured out how to mount it and make it use able with my truck but have some questions.

First what can I boost on a daily driver I was thinking 7 pounds. I have exaust, heads, and will be doing a chip from hemifever if he can do the supercharger tune, I have not asked him about that yet.

Second I am pretty sure I will need bigger injectors, what size any ideas?

Also this is a awd truck all the time, and 4 wheel drive if I want

Please let me know if you guys think this is feaseable, possible, and some opinions.

If you think those are the ones I need, honestly I am not educated when it comes to fuel injected vehicles so I am asking you guys, If it had a carburetor I would have it on already haha.

what exactly did that blower come off of? i never have seen a root or twin screw blower for a dakota, only centrifugal.

That is also a good question, it does not have any part numbers except 1208, I have called eaton and whipple and they say it is not there's. I think it is off a stock GM vehicle from some other posts, everything internally is good, oiling system works great, no scars or anything. I fabricated some quick brackets just to see if it would fit and should be pretty simple, so wanted to take it the next step.

well there are people running around here with 6-7 pounds of boost on a stock application with no problems. Just make sure you have a good tune.

That is always good to hear, now maybe someone can chime in and help me out with injector size, and anything else I may need to make this work. Thanks again guys

looks like the unit for the lm850
which went in saturn ion redlines and cobalt ss'

i could be wrong though but if it is, you might have trouble since your engine is 2-3x the size the s/c was designed for

good luck
