speaker help

how do you get the speaker out of the doors on a 2001 dakota? looks like there are 3 tabs you have to spread apart but its not working.

Did you remove the 3 screws? You remove the screws and then pry lightly on the speakers. They are sealed lightly too the door. Once the speakers come out then you can remove the mounting plate.

i removed the 3 screws, i pulled on the entire thing and nothing budged.

when your pulling pull the door panel upwards, the clips are hooked into the door frame.
and i dont remember for sure you said 3 screws i think there might be 2 smaller ones right at the bottom of the door panel
