Default Stalling for no reason

So I was getting P1389 code and the truck would randomly stall whenever it wanted or sometimes not want to start. I changed the Auto Shutdown Relay. The check engine light it now gone but I took it out for a test drive and it still stalls. Opinions? Start looking for a loose or bare wire?

P1389 No ASD Relay Output Voltage At PCM No Z1 or Z2 voltage sensed when the auto shutdown relay is energized.

What done the (M) mean in this code?
P1389 (M) No ASD Relay Output Voltage At PCM An open condition detected in the ASD relay output circuit.

SO to recap:
>truck stalls at random
>changed ASD relay
>check engine light goes away
>problem continues

Since there is no more check engine light I'm thinking the stalling is unrelated the the relay issue and it could be a coil wire or something like that.

I'm thinking TPS or something related to air/fuel delivery. Mine will occasionally start dieseling and/or stall/studder if I stab the gas pedal...I make it lean (more pedal than fuel) then the computer makes it rich (more fuel than pedal). also if it's idling and i try to steer against a curb or bumpstops or ect, the PS pump will bog it to a stall/studder.

My shuts off when I'm coasting, go to give it gas, it shuts off like someone turned the keys off. No sputter or warnings.

I did some reading and could it be the cam sensor?

Well, the code came back(1389) and stalled the truck. And this time it's done. Wouldn't come back to life. Called the tow truck and it's in the shop. A friend works there so it shouldn't be to expensive.

sounds like you have an open between the ASD relay and the PCM, have you checked it for continuity? reseat the pcm connector while your at it.

Checked all the wires. 1.5 ohms through all of them so there good. Checked PCM connectors and fuse box for corrosion. Everything was fine.

I'd have to agree with the other Steve, sounds like a connector or wire is popping loose under G force shift...

Sorry, I missed this post... your IAC motor is sticking or going bad or the TB is dirty and needs to be cleaned. This is a common problem with the magnum 5.2/5.9 motors.

Pull off TB and pull off IAC (back of the TB) and clean both really well with TB cleaner. If it continues your IAC may be on it's way out.
