Tires
I need a new set of rubber on the Dak (1998 4x4). Was born with Goodyear Wranglers 31x10.50x15's. I'm getting sticker shock. Is there a P-metric that will work? I'm after a smoother ride and don't carry enough of a load to warrant a 6 ply truck tire. Would like a little better ride, with some resonable wear rate. It's an every day driver and tow my fishing boat in the summer.
Any suggestions?

265/70-16 is what i'm running, goodyear tracker 2's. $96 or so at walmart, each, when i bought them. Can't say much about tread wear, i bought them for the large contact patch and good sized tread for non-dry driving. I haven't measured current vs stock depth, but visually on the Tony Stewart rating system, it would be "no comment".
(The Stewart rating system uses a range from "I want hoosiers" [wears too quick] to "Make the front bar bigger and take the rear bar off..i have no grip whatsoever" [doesn't wear at all])

put a set of 31\10.5\15 dunlop radial rover a/t 's on my 97 4x4, they ride smooth, don't whine, good traction on and off road, bought them @ pep boys while they were running the buy 3 get 1 free special, so far i am really impressed with them, i haven't run dunlop tires since my 1980 big hair, chevelle days,
Im running 31's bfg AT's (98 dak slt 4x4 5.2) They have a little bit of road noise but with my dual exhaust I dont even notice them anymore. My truck sees every kind of terrain and these tires have never let me down. They wear very well and I plan on buying them again.
pro comp xtreme at's... they have your size. I have 95k miles on a set that is nearing the end of their life... I have yet to get stuck with them, they grip really well (better the BFG's IMO) in wet weather and have performed well in snow, sand & shallow mud.
