Default Turn signal question (2002)

My left turn signal is flashing very fast. This usually indicates a burned out bulb but both of mine are good and both flash fast.

What else could cause this and how do I correct it?

check both blinker bulbs in the front, most people assume because it is flashing the bulbs are all good, but there are two blinker bulbs int he front housing and if ONE of them is bad this will happen. This is the most likely problem, so check both of them and get back to us

Thank you... It seems to be an intermittent problem (gotta' love those) so next time it happens I'll check the bulbs and report back.

Sure enough, one bulb was flashing so I pulled the unit but neither bulb was burned. Chalking this one up to a bad connection. I just put the bulbs back for now. If it happens again, I'll replace the bulbs.

Thanks for the help.
