10 Years Old!
I can't believe it... 10 years on my Dak, and only 14,120 miles!
I've already had it out once this year... and boy, it is nice!
Hopefully it will get to see 15,000 miles by the end of the year, if not, oh well.
Anyone else keeping their Dak for a later, down the road, collectors item? I am...

thats a great idea, unfortunately i dont think you'll see any real benefits from it until much later on in life. You do have a pretty rare combination there and low mileage, but realistically right now its probably not worth what you are thinking.
on the extreme opposite end of the spectrum... my 88 dakota is 21 years old, which is of course old enough to buy and consume alcohol. It also has over 250xxx miles.

If anything in the Dakota Class is going to be a collectors item it will probably be the Limited R/Ts very few where made from 98-03, but even then its a fat chance these trucks will become a collectors item... Maybe a STOCK R/T about 15+ years from now with low millage might be worth what the MSRP was when it came out... but i dont think its gonna be 1971 Cuda collector worthy...

my 01 only has 56k on it. that works out to only like 7k a year. the thing is, the first 3 years of its life it was my grandpas, and during the time he owned it he only put 2,000 miles on it.
