Weird Noise

Default Weird Noise

hey guys i was driving around the other day i noticed a werid almost grinding noise coming from the rear when i make hard right turns. its hard to describe but was wondering if anyone else had this issue. i jacked the truck up and tried to wiggle the tires but they didnt move to try to check the wheel bearings.. any ideas?

are the gears in your diff messed up?

is the axle an LSD or an Open?

no idea..lol. i opened the lil plug and the gear oil is to the hole line, but i think i might have a slight leak..i might just pull it off this weekend and re seal it back up and see how that works

check your glove box. it should have a piece of paper in there with some details about your truck (axle ratio, axle itself, and if you have and LSD or not)

yeah i mean its just an idea... it could also be something in your suspension that creeks or grinds bad when you are turning to the right... lets wait for some other guys to chime in and see what it might be

yea i dk what it could be... i just checked the fluid an its overflowing... i havent driven the truck withint 12 hours so the grear oil is high... thought it might of been my exhaust rubbing but its not... o well.. i'll just have to keep looking...

yea checked them.. tire doesnt move so i dont think its that... still trying to figure it out... i looked under the truck today and nothing seems to be like hitting anything.. well atleast no visual aid... possibly could it be in the front end? cv joints?
