So far the only lifts I have found for a dakota are really expensive. I've heard of people cranking their torsion bars to get a little rise out of the front but are there any negative consequences from doing this. Also the main reason im doing this is so i can fit 33" bfg all terrains.

if your gonna lift your truck...do it the right way...buy a suspension lift...u wont be disappointed

 

This is another topic that has been covered numerous times. Try using the search feature, I'm positive this has been covered more then a dozen times.

And even with a tb crank I don't think you're going to fit 33's.

 

not well, basically with our trucks, pay to do it right the first time, don't half *** it, it would be better just not to do it at all

also as bpark said, search tool is your friend.
