Default I Need input from all V6 owners re:mpg

I just acquired a '98 regular cab w/V6 auto. I'd like to know what kind of highway gas mileage some of you are getting so I'll know if I want to use this as a daily driver. THANKS!!!

generally it sucks... best ive gotten was 24-25 mpg, but that during a long haul loaded up about 100 pounds, including me. i have a new map sensor on order, so il let you know eventually what i get then. gotta take into account though the modifications i have done to my dakota. average is between 15-18 mpg

honestly at the end of the day the V6 mileage just about equals the V8 mileage.

Hey, all!

Thanks to all who replied. It helped me out a BUNCH! I think I'll just keep on usin' my PT Cruiser 'cause it gets 28+mpg. Again, Thanks!
