Question vaccum leak

so my check engine light came on and took the truck to my local advanced and had them do the plug in thing, they said it was a vaccum leak, is there a common place that this could be coming from, or what i could do to find out where it is.

first check is the gas cap being loose, the second thing is, on my dads truck there is a vacume hose that runs under the battery, tend to dry out and crack on the end, if thats it, cut off the cracked part and put the hose back on the connector

quick easy way to find a vacc leak is to spray each connection with starting fluid with the truck running,
if it starts to run funny, theres your leak
