Cool Ram or Dakota PCM

Am doing the 3.9 to 5.9 swap and was wondering what computer would
work best. i have a 4x4 truck and am not sure if i cam put an R/t pcm on my truck and the 4x4 still works. I want it because of the superchips programmer gets more horses and using the ram computer but. So i need to know if a daktoa R/T pcm will work with a 4X4 dakota or will i have to get a dodge ram pcm.

I wound assume that would all matter depending on what the engine came out of.

DONT GET A RAM PCM!

It wont work correctly, get a pcm from a 5.9 Dakota the SAME year as your truck. It will save you alot of money and headaches.

both the 5.9 in the dakota and rams are the same. ya i am hoping my 4x4 will still work with the R/T pcm because of the superchips programmer is adds 50hp and 60lb with 93 octane.

True... but not all of the pinouts are in the same spot between a ram and dakota. Your 4x4 will not be affected in any way. I use an R/T PCM in my truck and it works perfectly.
