Default 5.2 V8 A/C help!

Hey, my A/C blows warm, and now that its hella hot out all the time, I want to fix it. What are some things I can check for at home, without having to take a lot of stuff apart?

99 5.2 V8 manual

Thanks

I just bought a can of R134a at the store and recharged it myself. This may or may not be your problem, but it it a good start and a cheap easy fix. Bigger problems could be with the compressor.

Good Luck

you might just want to start with a system recharge. do it at a shop, dont do it yourself. if you overcharge the system it is very dangerous to you and your a/c components.

if you find that it is empty you probably have a leak somewhere, or you could have a clogged orifice tube, which on my truck is located right by where the air box gets its air from the RF fender.

system needs to be recovered, recycled, and recharged for proper performance.

hey man you might want to look into a new orifice tube, or check and make sure your evaporator isnt plugged up.
