Default 3.9 magnum remote turbo

i have decided that wen i scrape up enough cash
ima install a t3/t4 remote turbo on the dak. i plan to run no more than 7psi cause thats all the stock
injectors can handle and i wont have to tune it. i
also plan on running an external wastegate and
an msd. anyone run this setup on the 3.9? i would run a manifold setup but dont know where to get a manifold fabd up. plus... the remote will be
perfect for my needs. will you be able to hear a BOV @ 7psi???

you will have to tune it no matter what, a stock computer doesnt recognize boost, only vaccuum. if your gonna do it, do it right. have it tuned professionally by someone. who cares if anyone can hear your BOV, all they are gonna hear is you screaming past them, thats what counts.

haha i guess so.
i there is a thread over on dakotausa about a remote setup in a 3.9 he ran an msd with a chip i believe. i cannot remember wat company tho.
peeps insisted on not having to have it tuned but i figured i would as even i know the stock comp wont recognize boost.

you dont want to 'chip' a boosted or sprayed engine, most 'chips' just advance the **** out of the timing, which is great, on an N/A motor. but if your running boost, look into a MSD boost timing retard box.

I know this has been covered over and over again but by the time you put the turbo on get it tuned up you could of had a 5.9 mag, or bigger. Rebuilt, bored out and stroked before you even get that turbo on the 3.9 and be passing turboed 5.9's! lol.

It's a lot of work for a turbo Id suggest a s/c before a turbo, no oiling to tap into but whatever floats your boat my 5.9 swap was about a grand to do. so let the numbers talk for them selves.
